Modifying purchase invoices that have a credit note against them

I was wondering if there is any way of modifying a purchase invoice that has a credit note against it

What is it you want to modify? In most cases you’d need to remove the credit note first to enable editing.

I want to change the amount column and add more lines and enter some things in to a different category.

Ah OK, anything affecting the total amount you’d need to remove the CN first.
