Please please please add the ability to run the monthly P&L report for a specific period and at least tax years/financial years rather than as currently the previous 12 months. I cannot really see the use of this but I would have though a drop down with 12 months ending MM/YY would be workable.
Not nearly as important: format the CSV Download link (and add other buttons) in a similar style to your other buttons such as the export data button the profit and loss report - reports/profitandloss. See attached image.
Have you tried clicking on preset date button, you can get monthly, quarterly, custom and accounting year date ranges, accounting year is particularly important and useful while preparing statutory accounts, also P&L report can be exported to csv and printed to pdf
Can you show me with a screen grab whow one does this as I must be missing something. I cannot see anywhere on my version of QuickFile where I can enter date ranges for the monthly P&L report at:
Reports> Profit & Loss> Preset date range> Months, pick any month and then you can see report month by month. Also option to enter date range and export data to excel for further analysis under pivot table
