I am considering using an Accountant to do the submissions and my personal end of year. They will need data from QuickFile to read into their software (I think Xero). Is there a report that produces a csv in the necessary format and data to allow this please?
How much detail do they want? All they should really need would be your P&L report, balance sheet, possibly a trial balance, and details of any substantial assets you’ve bought or sold in the last year (as well as all the stuff that isn’t in QuickFile anyway, such as employment or pension income). Or are they basically wanting to reconstruct the full details of your entire QuickFile books in their own software? If the latter, you might want to look for an accountant who already uses QuickFile (there are several who post regularly on here) as it seems like a waste of the accountant’s time - and hence of your money - to recreate everything in a second system just to do the end of year submission when that’s something that can be done from QuickFile anyway.

It sounds as thought your accountant is wanting to recreate everything in Xero. Quickfile will do the MTD quarterly submissions for HMRC purposes, so there would be no need to duplicate entries on another system. I would recommend calling your accountant to see why they would need this, if it is because they are not willing to use Quickfile (they would just need access) then it may be worthwhile moving to another accountant who does use Quickfile.
