Hi, I’m using TaxFiler at present for preparing accounts and filing all tax returns.
I’m having to change software due to TaxFiler being bought over by Iris and Iris making a pigs ear of what was once a great piece of kit. I’m wondering about MTD for Income Tax, I’m assuming that QuickFile will be compliant with HMRC for filing quartly accounts, therefore I’m assuming that I will no longer need software for self-assessments?
Just wanting to know as it will be a factor in my decision on what filing software to move to in the interim period. Some packages allow you to build options on in tiers, ie if I am using QuickFile in the future for MTD I can scale down in my other software.
