I have set up a client on MTD (had confirmation email through from HMRC), but when I put in the details on their VAT page (using my MTD agent details as log in) it keeps coming up with

" You are not yet authorised to view this report for the VRN 998202484 . Please ensure your VAT number is correct and you have connected the corresponding HMRC Tax Account. If you have recently enrolled on the MTD scheme please allow 24 hours for HMRC systems to update."

It is days since we had confirmation from HMRC. What is going wrong??

Couple of points to check.

Did you add your client to your ASA account first?
Did you select organisation and not individual when setting up the connection between quickfile and hmrc?

And lastly. Have you made sure there’s only one active connection under Reports - HMRC and made sure to delete any old non working attempts?
