MTD - How to change to calendar reporting?

I just connected to MTD. If I go to the Tax Account - Self-Assessment Workflow report, the quarters start on 6 april. But I want to use Calendar reporting. In the Basic settings for the company the ‘Next Year end date’ is set to 1/4/2027. In ‘MTD Self Assessment Settings’ MTD start date is set to 1/4/26.

How do I change to calendar reporting?

I read that but I’m not sure what it means. It says “HMRC allows eligible MTD ITSA users…“ how do I know if I’m eligible? Is it saying I need to contact HMRC to change the start date?

That is correct, when you connect your tax account we read the periods provided from you HMRC account.
