I am looking to switch to Quickfile for 2025/2026 tax year onwards, due to PAYE income it is unlikely I will meet the threshold for MTD ITSA until 2028. I am a small business can I still use Quickfile to file my self assessment? Or will I need a Power User account even though I won’t need to submit quarterly updates?

If you’re on MTD then you need to file quarterly updates. If you’re not on MTD then you use the figures from QuickFile to submit your tax return in the normal way, you don’t submit it directly through QuickFile.
