Possible not the correct category (but I don’t think there is one) and more aimed at the QF team (and other accountants) but there is a growing WhatsApp group called MTD Therapy (and associated groups) where they have accountants, Professional Body representatives, etc but also software representatives and I know they are keen to showcase the software to members ahead of MTD “D-Day”.
I think they are trying to reach out to you guys so it would be good having a representative in there - there’s a number of us who are very keen users of QF - singing your praises, so you will find some friends !
As an FYI, I’ve recently used ChatGPT to trawl all the requirements of MTD, then write an app using Python that takes all the financial data and creates the required digital file format with the required structure etc, so that it can be uploaded for reporting to HMRC and Companies House. All that remains is to register to be authorised to submit such files, and bingo DIY MTD for micro-entity Ltd companies, in the same way that is currently offered via the free online tool (soon to be scrapped).
@MAMS005 FWIW QuickFile have already said that they will implement MTD for Limited Companies when the specs are settled. But what they won’t do is implement an integration for the current (non-MTD) online submission protocol for HMRC & Companies House, knowing that it will be superseded by MTD when that comes on stream.
