MTD VAT Submission - discrepancy found?

Hi,

I have the same problem as Howard (his was back in 01/02/2014). I have until midnight to submit the return. I have checked all account(s) items are tagged. I manually calculate the VAT on Excel spreadsheet like I used to. All figures are exact match with the calculation on QuickFile. However, when I tried to submit I get this

Vat return submission failed as there may be a discrepancy in the VAT Return. We will automatically investigate this and we will contact you with further information ASAP. We advise you not to file this information with HMRC until we have completed our analysis.

Please HELP!!!

Hi @KhoaiCafe

This is likely because you have a return on your account already for this period (but not submitted using MTD).

If you go to Reports >> VAT Returns, do you see a return there for the same period with the status of “Saved”? If so, view the return, roll it back, and then re-submit it using MTD.
