Quick question
I use quickfile for a number of my clients
Most of which I use my agent details to submit their VAT returns
When I link Quickfile to HMRC for MTD - can I use my agent details, or do I need to have access to my clients login details?
Hi @Claire_Davis
If you’re using Affinity, you can link your agent account to your Affinity account, which will then make it available in the individual accounts for you.
There’s more information on this here: HMRC Agent Services Account Integration
Hi
Most of my clients, I access directly, not via affinity
They are also small ones, although VAT registered
If I move them into affinity, I will have to pay to access them
If it stays as it is, and I get their login details - will there be a charge for the MTD services within Quickfile?
I seem to remember seeing somewhere that you have to pay the pro fee - £45 per year in order to be able to use MTD - is this the case?
MTD services are included with all accounts - there’s no need for a subscription (with the exception of VAT bridging).
However, individual accounts would need to use their own HMRC login. Agent accounts can only be connected through Affinity.
