Hi, I submitted my first digital vat return but its been rejected sighting the VRN number as being incorrect. I checked and it is the right one. the message from HRMC reads. (By ChRIS : The VRN specified 674444319 was not found.)
Have you definitely connected the right tax account? Try disconnecting and reconnecting again from the reports -> HMRC page.

I have done as you suggested re disconnecting and reconnecting the tax account.
I can’t see how to resubmit the original VAT return.
I am presuming I shouldn’t roll back the VAT return.
After reading through the VAT return instructions I concluded that I did have to roll back the return, which then allowed me to resubmit.
This time everything went through successfully.
