New client not found once logged out

Hello. I am helping a friend set up a new account and we have had to create 2 accounts as each time we log out and try and log back in again, it says our credentials can’t be found but if we use the e-mail address again, it says it already exists. The company is K.W. Carpets. Please can you help with the set up urgently and maybe delete one of the records for us?
