I am newly self-employed and in receipt of the New Enterprise Allowance through DWP. This is a grant and I am wondering whether or not I need to create an invoice or just a bank credit.

You don’t need to create an invoice - jut tag the bank receipt as “something else not on the list” and allocate it to a separate category for grants received (you may need to create one if there isn’t something suitable).
