New Projects dialogue not appearing

Main Menu->projects new->+ new project-> gets a pop-up giving advice. OK Got it or x close clears the pop-up and goes back to the project management screen. This loop leaves no way to enter a new project. Same in chrome, firefox, pc and android versions. There is no grey add/modify tags button on invoice preview.
Am I missing something obvious? Am I being stupid or is this a bug?

The project tag box doesn’t appear on the invoice preview until you roll your mouse over the top right corner of the invoice itself.

So when you’re previewing the invoice, roll your mouse over the top right corner and it should appear:

Click that and you’ll get a pop up box, where you can then enter up to 5 tags. Enter a new tag, and click ‘create new tag for xxxxxx’

Another reason this wouldn’t appear and what I first suspected was that you may be on the old invoice template (pre September 2013) which isn’t supported for projects. Actually this isn’t the problem (as far as I can see on your account), however it’s worth a mention and can easily checked and upgraded in the Sales menu under “Invoice Customisation”. If you’re on the old template you’ll have a red banner there at the top of the page.

Thanks Glenn you the answer. Problem solved. It also works on my android tablet by giving the preview invoice a tap on the corner. Using a touch screen there is of course no mouse-over.
