I’ve just started using Quickfile today, I’m not currently VAT registered and will be entering my last years invoices etc… but in the next few weeks I need to register for VAT, when I do that is the VAT registration just applied from the date I change it on the system?

When you are officially VAT registered you can enable VAT accounting in the company settings area. It is however important to set a “VAT Filing Start Date” in the VAT settings area, this will ensure any future returns only pickup sales and purchases from that date.
