Nominal Ledger missing from backup

Hi. I’ve just noticed that the nominal ledger file is no longer in any of the backup files. I used to use this as the backbone of my reporting and just look up to other files as needed.

Could you tell me why it was removed please?

I believe this used to be included as part of the on-demand back up rather than the automated one, as we used to process this in the background.

However, this was changed following user feedback, so you can now request just the nominal ledger output in a few different formats. There’s more on how to do this in our guide: Run a Detailed Nominal Ledger Report.

It hasn’t been removed completely, just moved and made a bit more flexible in terms of what’s produced.
