If you head over to account settings you should see an option “Account lock date”.

All you need to do here is move the date back or delete it entirely:

Hi Glen its saying I need to remove year end journals, can I just delete this journal?

Sorry I forgot to add that particular caveat. Yes you will need to delete these journals first.
