Open Banking Feed Not Updating in Quickfile

A few weeks ago, Cater Allen eventually updated my account to its new platform enabling me to use Open Banking feeds in Quickfile. Great. I set up the open banking feed and QF has been merrily importing the transactions as it should.

I log in to QF today and there’s no new transactions. Strange, as I know I had four payments going out today. I refresh the bank feed manually, nothing. If I go to bank feeds->Info, the correct balance is shown for today, however the balance and transactions are still shown as at 27th October in the Banking->Cater Allen Current Account page.

I’ve tried manually refreshing from the 27th. Nothing.

I’ve tried revoking and re-connecting the feed. Nothing.

How can I get it to update?

What kind of payments going out? Faster payments transfers or card payments? I don’t know about Cater Allen specifically but for several banks you can see card authorisations in your internet banking but they only appear on the OB feed once the payment has fully settled a few days later.

Out of six transactions, one is a direct debit and five are manually scheduled payments (I guess these would be faster payments?). However, the direct debit payment for the 30th October still hasn’t appeared in Quickfile.

Sometimes payments aren’t cleared straight away so can take a couple of days to appear, but if you still aren’t seeing the ones from the 27th then there may be something that needs checking. Please could you send a private message to @QFSupport with your QuickFile account number and the details of the missing transactions so that we can investigate

I just double checked and the transaction on the 27th is in my QF account (nothing has changed, I just read it wrong).

I still have a transaction from the 30th October that is not showing - a faster payment - and then five transactions from 2nd November which may appear soon.

Do you think it’s worth waiting another day or so for the 30th October transaction to appear?

You can do, but I am more than happy to take a look at the account to let you know why it isn’t showing yet. At least then you’d know?
