I was told I can use only one - card or account. Every time I want to use one of them the another stops working.

As long as they’re on the same login, you should be able to use them through one connection.
If they’re not on one login with your bank, they may be able to change this for you.
I use the same login for both. Every time I activate one the another becomes inactive.
If they’re under the same login with the bank, you would need to raise this with the bank unfortunately.
We have no control over what they show or allow.
What exactly do you mean by “activate”? If you want to connect multiple accounts with the same bank then you authorise one connection from the QuickFile end but select all the accounts you want to authorise in one go at that point, then assign each of the accounts in the feed to the appropriate account in QuickFile.
You have one connection per bank but that connection can include several accounts.
