I have put on the opening balance of my bank account and it has to code 1200 but the other code has gone to suspense 9998
Is this correct or do I need to journal it to somewhere else

No I didn’t have a balance sheet previously I did my accounts on a spreadsheet and use spreadsheets to do a p&L account. Not good I know but sufficient to do my tax return
Are you sole trader? if yes you can journal suspense account balance to capital account

Got that. Do I put opening stock, Vehicles & equipment to that as well. I ought to really have all my stuff on really. Sorry for being a pain. I am not sure how to set up a asset list though
