Overdue Reminders not being sent from custom SMTP (solved)

I’ve recently had a few overdue reminders sent out, but notice that they weren’t sent through the SMTP server. Is this correct? If so, why doesn’t it use the SMTP?

It seems that in some cases the SMTP credentials are being bypassed when there is no active session. This would occur if the system is automatically sending mail in accordance with a schedule at a time that the user isn’t logged in.

For now I will switch this to the bug category so we can have this reviewed. Thanks for letting us know.

We’ve introduced a fix today that should resolve this problem, please let me know if this is working OK for you.
