Could you advice which nominal account is best for packaging materials?
Basically I sell items and pack them in the envelopes, should I record these envelopes in 5003 Packaging or 5000 General Purchases?

Personally I would put it under “Packaging (5003)”, it’s going to end up in the same place on the P&L, it just allows you to better differentiate your costs.
