Hi
Currently, as far as I can see, for clients the due date is entered on the invoice as “Payable within” number of days. There is no way to enter the actual date.
For most businesses I am sure that this works well but for me my clients invoices are payable on a date in the future unrelated to the date on which the invoice is raised but related to the date on which the service that they are purchasing will be delivered (a holiday rental).
Currently I simply work out how many days in the future the rental starts (using Excel) and enter that number of days in the “Payable within” field. e.g. rental starts 31st May 2024 and I create the invoice today I enter 275. But this is a bit cumbersome.
It would be great if one could simply enter the due date into a due date field (perhaps company setting could achieve this. Giving the user the choice to set how the due date is calculated).
Thank you.
I hope this makes sense.
Regards
Michael
