Payment confirmation email when paying with a preset method (e.g. PayPal)

Is there any way to automate the payment received emails if someone pays an invoice using a preset payment method eg: PayPal

I know you can manually send a payment received email but is there or does QuickFile send these emails when this payment method is used?

I’ve seen this thread Automatically send paid with thanks notification / Confirmation of Payment but not sure if there is an update on this.
