Can anyone help me - looking at my PayPal merchant account statement there is an entry Transfer - ref no then in Money In figure. I have double checked the PayPal and cannot see this in any way. When I click the search for similar transactions it just shows me this one and 3 more untagged transactions. How can I find out what this entry is for?

Has this come in from your PayPal feed? The reference would normally be the PayPal reference (usually looks like a string of uppercase letters and numbers).
You should be able to use this to locate it within your PayPal account itself
