I have a PayPal account mainly used for paying suppliers instead of accepting payments.
Should it be set in QuickFile as a merchant or a current account?
How to set the PayPal account type if frequently used both for paying suppliers and accepting payments?
I have mine set as a merchant account but as far as I can tell the only difference it makes is which section the account is listed under on the bank accounts summary page - it doesn’t affect how the account works or what type of transactions you can post to it.
PayPal would be a Merchant account.
