Possible bug on accounting type

Possible bug here for MTD

When on my Tax Account - Business details, it shows me as cash accounting, which is wrong

however,

When on my MTD Self Assessment Settings within the workflow, it shows as standard invoice basis which is correct.

Please advise

Hello Eddie

The business details are read from your HMRC account and it what HMRC are expecting you to submit.

If this is incorrect you can change this using the Update option or in your MTD Settings to inform them you will file using accrual/standard basis.

Thanks, but when I go through as you said, it does show the correct accounting as invoice basis accrual.

Only when I check on business details it’s wrong, and when I try to change, the system won’t allow me.

My point is that is shows both methods depending where you look in the MTD section both cash and accrual.

I’m accrual, which is what i selected when I first set up, always been this way past 32 years for my accounts.
