Is there a way to upload a bank statement with the category/type pre-tagged?
Basically we already have our bank statement history with each transaction tagged as certain things (Revenue, Motoring Expenses, Advertising, Office Costs etc.)
Is there a way to import that bank statement and have it automatically tag without the need to manually tag every transaction?

Unfortunately this isn’t possible. As most transactions are tagged to an invoice (where the category/nominal is then defined) you would need to tag the transaction itself.
That said, there are a few ways to potentially speed this up.
Bulk tag transactions, by selecting them and using the “Bulk Tag Selected” option at the top of the page
Set up bank tagging rules (Banking >> Bank Tagging Rules) which can look for certain keywords or references in the transaction description and tag them automatically for you.
