Pro rata cost of replacement appliances


Our company rents a room in our property from us (Use of home as an office). I understand that a pro rata amount for replacement costs of any shared appliances (dishwasher etc) can be claimed.

Which is the correct ledger to post to?

I think this is something that may be best run past your own accountant to be sure it’s recorded correctly. Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer accounting advice (I’m not an accountant).
