I’d much rather do this to non-live data. Is it in order for me to set up a new account on QF for the very limited purpose of testing these new scripts or, is there an existing ‘developers sandpit’ - as opposed to ‘sandbox’

Unfortunately the only way to do testing is through the Sandbox which will affect the data on your account. However, you can set up another account to use solely for testing purposes. So long as this stays bellow the L category it will be free for you to use.

I think I will create a dummy account - it wont have many transactions in it as it will be a pure fiction.
