How do I add a property at the current market value and the current mortgage value to I can see it in the balance sheet?
Any help greatly received.

A journal would probably be the answer but where you put the balancing entry I have no idea, speak to an accountant.
Using a journal.
You add the property value as fixed asset, the mortgage value as long term creditor, the balancing amount will be the deposit, which could be Capital/Loan/Bank
