Purchase Invoice - options missing

I have just set up a new account on Quickfile and the following fields are missing with ono option to add them;
Sub-total
VAT rate
VAT

These options would only appear if you have VAT Registration switched on in Account Settings >> Company Settings. However don’t switch on VAT accounting if you’re not VAT registered as your accounts will be incorrect.

I am having the same problem. I have read the answer and checked the VAT registration on the account settings as Glenn suggested yet the purchase page has not altered. Have I missed something else? I need to input VAT so I can claim it all back…

Missing VAT column on purchases

Hello, When we issue a PO it does not allow us to enter a VAT amount even though when we it is printed it shows a VAT column a 0%. I know it is not suppoed to have a VAT amount because its just an committment to purchase how ever when you convert that PO to a Purchase invoice it doesnt allow us to add the VAT there?
