Where do I record my quarterly VAT payments to HMRC. in Quickfile? I normally keep my books on 2 spreadsheets recording all incoming payments on one and all outgoing payments on the other

You can just enter the bank transaction when it goes out, and when tagging it, select “Payment to HMRC” and then “VAT”.
Providing you’ve entered your VAT figures on QuickFile (e.g. through a VAT return submitted through QuickFile), then this will balance out for you.
