Quickfile access

Hi,

I have recently moved into the high usage profile and paid access to quickfile for that service which I assume comes with the standard views that I have been receiving so far. I am now being asked to upgrade to a power user but do not understand why this is mandatory to allow me to continue to see my accounts in quickfile. My dashboard access page routes me to a power user payment request and I am unable to see any of my accounts but I have already paid for high usage?

Could you help let me know why power user is mandatory?

Many thanks, Mark Budgen

What exactly do you mean by “I have already paid for high usage“? The power user subscription is the payment for high usage - there’s no direct charge for large accounts as such but they require you to purchase a subscription unless the account is connected to the Affinity platform.

The Power User Subscription is an annual fee (£45 + vat). It’s possible that your subscription has expired? If that were the case you should have received a reminder email 30 days and 7 days before the expiry date.

If you don’t believe that to be the case I can open up a private message to get some further information.

Hi Mathew,

I think it might be worth opening up a private message as I had paid £18 for large accounts on the 4th Feb ahead of the end of the free period so I am not sure it this is same thing or something else that I have misunderstood. Do I have to purchase something else as well as the large account to access quickfile ie do I have to purchase power user?

Many thanks, Mark.

Hi Mathew,

I think I have worked it out. My error the £18 was for the banking feed and I had only paid a small proportion of the annual fee.

Regards, Mark.
