Hello, I notice in Account Settings the Client Area Domain Name can be changed.
What are the effects of this? Does it immediately change our https://myarea.quickfile.co.uk name to the overtyped one for logging inon a pc/laptop?

Yes, that will change the URL you use to login, also the URLs your customers use to pay invoices and see their statement. That means, invoices you have sent in the past have no valid link anymore. Also, some customers may bookmarked the login page, this cannot be used anymore.
So, if you change this URL you would have to inform your clients.

Thank you very much for the reply. I had recommended Quickfile to a friend. When setting up the login/domain he put 3 vowels instead of 2 in the Domain Name.
I thought it must be changeable as the option is there to overtype.
As he has no transactions yet I’ll advose him it’s ok to change.
