QuickFile Negative balance against positive bank account balance

My bank account is showing the actual and correct funds that are in but I’m not sure why the balance on my QuickFile dashboard is incorrect. I’ve tried modifying the opening balance of the account to match the correct number but it won’t let me change it, this is the message I get:

The opening balance could not be saved as there are transactions occuring before the opening balance date you supplied

You can only enter an opening balance prior to the earliest transaction on the account.

For example if I have a transaction dated 01/04/2026 for £100

I would either need to enter my opening balance as of 31/03/2026 or delete the £100 transaction and include that in my opening balance entered on 01/04/2026.
