Re-submitting a rolledback VAT submission

This post should hopefully explain the steps you need to go through to rollback your VAT return and then re-submit any future returns you need to do withou introducing errors into them.

Rollback VAT

If you temporarily disable the online filing options in your QuickFile settings then you should be able to prepare and save a replacement return for the same period as the one that was rolled back (then turn online filing back on to submit the next one). This can’t necessarily guarantee that the figures on the replacement return are exactly the same as the rolled back one, because QuickFile will include any invoices or purchases that fall within the date range of that return but were created af…
