I am using QuickFile for the book keeping of an Ltd for the past three years.
I have noticed that during the past month, when uploading invoices in the Receipt Hub it appears my name under the Author, whereas in the past three years there was a - sign.
I have been trying to remove my name and reinstate the - sign instead but seems impossible to do so.
Under “Account Settings”:
I went to the “Team Management” and my name is not there.
I also went to the “Management Information” and yes my name is there but I think it is because it is linked to the details held at Companies House.
How do I remove my name from Author in Receipt Hub please?

The Author field was recently introduced as a means of tracking where receipts came from.
For example if a company has several drivers, each driver can upload their own receipts and who ever is processing the receipts can see which driver submitted them.

An option to remove it was not added, it was designed to be a permanent column.
Why would it need to be removed as it only shows who has uploaded it?
I am not talking about the column which was already there.
I am talking about an option to remove the name (any name and reinstate the - sign (anonymous).
Your last question is out of context as it should not be of your personal interest.
Could you kindly advise if there is an option to remove the name or if it will be added as an option in future please?

The “Author” column was only added recently (within the last few weeks).
There’s no option to remove it completely and as my colleague, @QFSteve, mentioned, it just shows who uploaded the file. There are no plans to add an option to remove it.
However, if you have a power user subscription, you could potentially hide it with a bit of custom code, but it will only hide it, not remove it.
