I was wondering how I record samples given to my business by suppliers, but are eligible for resale in QF? I have tried to raise as a purchase however as the value of purchase price is 0 it will not save.

You will be unable to process a £0 invoice. What you are querying is more of a stock control feature rather than an accounting one.
As the samples have no value when you are ‘buying’ them then you don’t need to record this in QuickFile - when you come to sell them you can do this as a regular sales invoice.
