How does the recurrent invoice option work? I mean once set up does it activate itself? or does it need to be “triggered”?
It is tiggered by the date. I believe that QF strat the processing run at about 8am, Certainly mine are always sent between 8 and 9

@atlsystems - when you create the invoice template, you set how often it should be sent and when we should start sending it (date). Once the profile has been activated we will start processing them.
We run this process at 8am every morning, although on popular days (Monday or 1st of the month), it can be a bit later.
