Recurring Invoices & Inventory

Hello,

I have recurring invoices set up that were set up using the inventory. If I change the cost of the inventory line item, when the recurring invoices next run, will the total shown on the invoice be updated as per the new inventory item price?

Hi @Gavin_Phillips

When you create an invoice, the line becomes independent from the inventory system. It’s more of a templating tool.

Unfortunately this does mean you would have to update the individual recurring invoices separately.

Bulk update recurring invoice templates

There have been a few discussions on this, by myself and others, so I have started a feature request thread. It would be useful to have a bulk edit/update tool/option for recurring invoices as changing notes/payment terms/bank details or item pricing on recurring templates can be quite laborious doing all templates one by one.
