A couple of suggestions on recurring journals:

If the user wished to the journal to continue until the profile is deleted can I suggest that a journal would continue for ever until deleted if the Occurrences field is left blank?

I think I am right in that it is not possible to see a list of recurring journals. One has go through the list of journals to find one that you wish to, for example, delete.
Could a field not be added to the search form. “Recurring” in addition to
Journal Name
Journal Date From
Journal Date To.
