Hello, I’m working on my annual accounts and haven’t been able to label any R&D costs as R&D as there is no category expense for it or even just Research.
I just wondered why it doesn’t exist in Quickfile?
Our research costs are minimal but I’d still like to label them appropriately. We previously had an accountant so our last years Filings include Research as an expense category and it’d be good to keep it that way for continuity.

You can create new codes in your charts of account to suit your companies needs.
