Hi, I am currently using the legacy API. Can you confirm please when using POST /invoices if you are able to create comment lines. With the old API, the description could be provided with a prefix of ||| to force a comment line. Is that available with the new REST API? I could not see anything referenced in the Swagger documentation or an example. Also, can you confirm please the best way to try things like this but not against a live system. If not, is it an acceptable approach to create a separate account for QuickFile and setup a test company for that purpose? Thanks!

You should still be able to provide ||| as a prefix to the description of an invoice line, which would be picked up as a comment line as normal.
There’s no way to test on a dummy system, but creating a second account is more than fine, you would just need a separate email address from your main account.
You can test directly on the swagger docs, or a tool such as Postman can be used. Postman also allows you to import an OpenAPI spec so you have quick and easy access to the different options.
One thing to note, however, as it’s still in beta, we’re still tweaking one or two things (e.g. bug fixing).
