Hi
As anybody here have experience of integrating Revolut Merchant account bank feeds into QF?
I currently accept cards online using Stripe and accept payments in GBP, EURO and USD. However, Stripe only allows a feed for one currency rather than for all three, which is of course ridiculous but there we are (as aside the way the work is overly complicated, and very expensive, with the charging structure being very opaque, the upside is it is easy to setup).
According to Revolut Help
“Our pricing is straightforward, with no setup or monthly maintenance fees for the Merchant account—you are just charged a processing fee per successful transaction.
Because your business is registered in the UK, here is a quick breakdown of the fees for accepting online payments:
- UK Visa and Mastercard consumer cards: 1% + £0.20
- UK American Express consumer cards: 1.7% + £0.20
- Non-UK consumer cards and all commercial cards: 2.8% + £0.20
You can find the full breakdown on our Business Pricing page.”
“ Yes, you can absolutely have an online form to accept payments and pre-fill it using our API. By using our Merchant API and the Revolut Checkout widget, you can build a custom payment experience for your customers. You can find all the technical details and guides in our Merchant API documentation.
As for your accounting, you can have a separate bank feed for each of the currencies you accept. Revolut Business supports Open Banking, which allows you to connect directly to software like QuickFile. When you set up the integration from QuickFile, you will be redirected to Revolut to select exactly which currency accounts (GBP, EUR, USD) you want to sync.
You can then map each Revolut currency account to the matching currency account in your QuickFile chart of accounts.”
Before going to the palaver of changing over to Revolut I wanted to verify that this was the case. Has anybody set up a bank feed with a Revolut merchant account?
Thank you
Regards
Michael
