Sales Items Sales Tasks

Hello, me again

I have started to separate my individual items and tasks (services) that I offer in my business, so instead of it all showing under General Sales, I can see how much I am doing with the dog walking and food.

I have created new nominal codes for the dog walking and for the food, I have then gone into the sales inventory snd set up the sales tasks (dog walking) and sales items (food) and I’ve directed them to the relevant nominal code, all seems fine but I have 2 invoices when I run my monthly profit snd loss report under General Sales, I’ve gone into see what invoices they are and both have a mixture of tasks and items and are correct but they are still showing under general not the specific nominal code

Did you update the sales inventory items after using them in an invoice, or before?
