Hi, when I sell books (0% VAT rated), does it matter which sales category I use? I am currently just using general sales. Thanks

It’s up to you, you can use General Sales or if you wanted to use a more specific nominal then you can create your own custom one?
I just use general sales for everything (my shop sells things at all three rates, 0%, 5% and 20%), you only need to split things out if you want to be able to track them separately in your P&L.
