Where are you seeing this as I have just tested this in the Chart or accounts?

Your screen shot is in the in the Sales > View payments screen
That screen only shows Invoice payments so there is not transaction type search avaliable
correct, but there used to be

I don’t understand why you would view the Client Payments screen then want to see other transactions?
because i wanted to filter the payments to show specific payment types. i never said i wanted to see other transactions from there - just the specific transaction type i.e. cash, card, paypal etc

Ah sorry I mis understood, so filter by the Bank Column
I will ask the development team to see if we can add a filter for this column

The type filter was removed with filters from other screens which had filters such as debit card/visa etc which could not be reported on.
just extra hassle not being able to search for specific types of transactions any more. getting a bit frustrated at things changing and getting more difficult
We have added this search capability to the purchase and sales payment list view. It should be live early next week.
