Hi,
I would like use quickfile for my self-employment. My question: can I use it to fill and send my tax return to hmrc? I had a look on the hmrc website and they have a page with Self Assessment commercial software suppliers (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/self-assessment-commercial-software-suppliers/self-assessment-online-commercial-software-suppliers#sage-uk-ltd) but I can not find quickfile? And if it is not possible at the moment, is there anything in the pipeline for the future?

Maybe it is an idea for the future, because it will make the peoples live easier. There are already a few companies who offer that service. But thank you very much for your reply.

There are dedicated software for accountants to do the job, they are complicated as tons of legislative factors to accounts for and book keeping software would become too complex and expensive. Lot of practical issues
