Send button for invoice

This has now caught me out 3 times and seems to be a quiet change.
If I click the ‘Send’ button on the invoice screen, the invoice does not get marked as sent, but ‘Draft’ although the screen lacks the banner saying so and the ‘Flag invoice as sent’ disappears. If I refresh the screen it reappears. The invoice remains as ‘Draft’ in the list of invoices.

Can I just clarify what you’re doing here? Would I be right in thinking when you click the “Send” button (next to “Print”), you’re expecting the invoice to be sent, but it’s not?

Yes, that’s correct. What happens is that the ‘Flag as sent’ link disappears but the invoice is not marked as sent.

What web browser are you using? If the invoice is “DRAFT” then the “Flag as sent” link should be showing until the invoice is changed to “SENT”.

Firefox 67.0.4 64bit under Linux Mint.
It’s worked before from what I remember - I detected the problem when I found a number of invoices I’d sent via email (as PDF’s) listed as ‘Draft’ in the Sales -> Show All Sales report. Invoices I’d ‘Sent’ a fortnight ago (so not just today).
I’m working around it by double-checking the list and making sure I use the ‘Flag as sent’ link

I’m not able to replicate this, albeit I’m not using Linux Mint.

We don’t unfortunately, but perhaps you could try this when you come to next issue an invoice?

Just clicking the “send” button is never enough to actually send the invoice - that button only expands the area with the various sending options of email, snail mail or “flag as sent”. If you just click “send” and then navigate away from the invoice it will remain as draft, you have to explicitly choose “flag as sent” in order to mark it sent in the QuickFile database.
